Halo World Clock: Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Halo World Clock is a home-screen widget that shows the time in up to six places, coloured by morning, afternoon, evening and night. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: it collects nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal or usage data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting, and it contains no third-party tracking code.
Internet and permissions
The app does not request internet access, so it cannot send anything off your phone. It does not ask for your location, contacts, files or any other permission. "Use this phone's time zone" reads only your phone's time zone setting, not your location.
What stays on your phone
Your widget settings (the places you choose, their labels, the design and display options) are saved on your phone so the widgets can show them. If you use Android's own backup, these settings are included in that backup, which is handled by Google under your Google account, not by us. You can remove them at any time by removing the widgets or uninstalling the app.
Time zone data
Times and daylight-saving rules come from your phone's built-in time zone data, which Android keeps up to date. The app does not download anything. City photos are built into the app.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page and in the app (About → Privacy) with a new date. If the app ever started collecting data, this page would say so before that version was released.
